As part of creating a new method in the Analytical Parameters (Chemistry) window, you set parameters for test liquids (sample, reagent, and diluent).
To help you set up new methods, the system provides certain default settings.
Setting up test liquid parameters
In the Analytical conditions section, enter the reagent volume, diluent volume, and sample volume information for serum samples.
The combined reagent, dilution, and sample volume cannot exceed 300 ml.
The combined reagent and diluent volume cannot exceed 150 ml.
Enter the dilution method and (if needed) the special diluent position.
If more than one method is running on a sample, methods with the same dilution ratio, diluent position, and dilution method are grouped together for processing.
Select Urine Set.
At the Item Analysis Conditions (Urine) window, enter settings for urine samples (the parameters are the same as the ones for serum samples; the values can differ).
Enter reaction time and reagent stir settings.
Select Save after completing the rest of the method and select Yes when prompted.
