Example B: Calibrating Direct Bilirubin using Total Bilirubin calibration sample (no bilirubin blank)

Calibrating the Direct Bilirubin method using the Total Bilirubin calibration sample (no blank), requires entering the following information at the Blank Reagent Settings window.

NOTE

The T-Bil and D-Bil test numbers might be different on your system.

Explanation of the Entries

Line 1 The T-Bil calibration sample absorbance is assigned for the calibration of the D-Bil channel.

Operational Notes

· Do not run a calibration sample for D-Bil even though its Calc. Mthd field is set to STD at the Analytical Parameters (Chemistry) window.

· The D-Bil sample results are calculated as follows:
