Selecting the sample attributes to print

  1. From the View(V) menu at the Print Form Settings window, select Property(P).

  2. Select the Sample Attribute tab.

  3. Repeat the following steps for each sample attribute you want to print:

  1. In the Attribute(A) list, select the check box for the sample attribute.

  2. In the Print Position(mm) area

·   Enter the vertical printing position in the Vertical(V) text box. This is the position in mm down
from the top margin of each report.

·   Enter the horizontal printing position in the Horizontal(H) text box. This is the position in mm
across from the left margin of each report.

  1. To change the displayed font selections, select Font.

  2. Enter the form information applicable for the sample attribute:

·   Sample Number, Comment 1, and Comment 2
 

IMPORTANT

To avoid losing information, enter a sufficient number of digits to print out the entire sample attribute. Refer to Defining the Temporary Text for attribute lengths.

In the Number of digits (K) box, enter the number of characters required to print the sample number or comment.

·   Age

In the Number of digits (K) box, type the number of characters required to print the age.

In the Zero suppress (Z) list, select whether or not to suppress leading zeroes.

·   Sex

In the Sign (M) list, select the format used to print the patient sex.

·   Reporting Date and Sampling Date

In the Sign (M) list, select the format used to print the date (2 = YYMMDD format, 4 = YYYYMMDD format) and system setting.

In the Separate (S) list, select the delimiter used to separate the year, month, and day elements.

  1. Select anywhere on the form page.

The temporary text created for the sample attribute displays in each report on the form page at the position defined by the Vertical and Horizontal entries.

  1. Close the dialog box.
