Operating modes

The table below lists the modes that display in the operating mode display, and describes their relationship with buttons at the Operation Panel.

RE CONNECTING

 

System reconnect is taking place.

ADD SAMPLES

System running; sampling has temporarily stopped

READY

System units are initialized.

CB WATCH

Waiting for cell blank measurement

REAGENT BC SCAN

Reagent barcodes are being read.

CELL BLANK

Cell blank measurement is taking place

RE-START ACCEPT

Restart is accepted.

DET.CHECK

Detector check is taking place

S PAUSE SHIFT

Transitional state to  ADD SAMPLES mode

DET.RRV CHECK

RRV detector check is taking place

START

Analysis has started.

END

Analysis completed; system is going to STOP mode

START ACCEPT

Start is accepted (ready to begin a run).

HOLD

Analysis on hold while another activity takes place, such as sample transport from LAS

STOP

 

·  Samples have been analyzed (run completed).

·  An error occurred, halting operation.

 

HOLD SHIFT

 

Transitional state to HOLD mode

STOP SHIFT

Transitional state to STOP mode.

INIT. ACCEPT

Initialization is accepted

SYSTEM INIT.

 

Transitional state to WAIT mode (during startup).

INITIALIZE

System units are being initialized

UNIVERSAL

Universal sequence (tests tubing) is taking place.

ISE ONLY

ISE processing is taking place

WAIT

System units not initialized.

ISE WASH

ISE wash is taking place

WASH 1, 2, 3

Wash 1, 2, or 3 is taking place.

LUMI.CHECK

 

Lamp energy measurement is taking place

WATCH

 

System running samples from external transport (LAS), e.g., rack handler; HOLD period has elapsed.

PRIME

Prime operation is taking place

WATER BLANK

Water blank measurement is taking place.

PROBE ADJUST

 

Probe adjustment is taking place
