Optionally use a DVD disc to perform system backups when file sizes are extremely large or you want to keep multiple backups on a single disk.
At the ADVIA startup window, select Cancel.
Load a DVD disc in the DVD drive.
Double-select the Roxio program icon on the Windows desktop, to open the Roxio menu window.
At the Roxio menu window, select Disc Creator Classic.
Select the files to write to the DVD disc.
At the Disc Creator Classic window, in the Select Source area, from the dropdown list select System disk (C:).
In the C: file list locate the A002 and FTP folders and drag them to the Project data window pane.
In the Disc Name field, enter today's date in the form yyyymmdd to name the backup.
At the Roxio window, in the lower left corner, select the record button to open the Record Setup window.
At the Record Setup window, accept the default values and select OK.
After a minute, the Burn Disc Progress window displays. The disc recording progress displays.
When the disc recording is complete, the Launch Label Creator window displays. Select Close.
At the Burn Disc Progress window, select OK.
At the Save message box, select No.
Close the DVD Creator Classic window.
Restart the computer.
At the Windows desktop, select Start.
At the Start menu, select Programs, then select Start up.
Double-select HRSTART.
At the ADVIA Chemistry Startup window, select Start and log in.
At the ADVIA startup window, select Cancel.
Load the backup DVD disk in the DVD drive.
Open Windows Explorer.
Select the DVD drive.
In the right pane, locate the folders A002 and FTP and copy them to the C: drive.
Right-select the DVD disk, and select Eject from the menu.
Remove the DVD disk from the drive and close it.
Close Windows Explorer.
Restart the system.
