Use the Alarm Buzzer Settings window to determine when and how the audible alarm sounds to alert the operator to status changes and system errors.
NOTE
Access to this window is through a tech_manager logon level only. Please contact your technical service provider or distributor in order to change the default settings on this window.
Log on as tech_manager.
At the Menu Panel, select Setup.
Select Alarm Buzzer Settings.
Perform any of the following tasks at this window:
Set an audible alarm for a system error
Set an audible alarm for a status change
To print the alarm settings, select Print.
In the Safety code area, find the line you want to change or use to enter a new setting.
NOTE
Fifteen lines are displayed at one time, use the Next, Next Page, Prev, and Prev Page buttons to view additional entries.
In the Code box, enter the safety code number of the error you want to trigger the audible alarm.
In the Buzzer type list, select the alarm sound you want created.
In the Time (sec) box, enter the duration of the alarm sound in seconds.
In the Comment box, enter some appropriate text.
Select Save.
In the Processing Flag area, find the line you want to change or use to enter a new setting.

In the State transition list, select the status condition you want to trigger the alarm.
In the Buzzer type list, select the alarm sound you want created.
In the Time (sec) box, type the duration of the alarm sound in seconds.
Select Save.
Select Clear.
To delete audible alarm settings for the safety codes, do the following:
Select the Safety code box.
In the first (left) Range to clear box, enter the line number of the first setting you want to delete.
In the second (right) Range to clear box, enter the line number of the last setting you want to delete.
To delete alarm settings for the state transitions, do the following:
Select the State transition box.
In the first (left) Range to clear box, enter the line number of the first setting you want to delete.
In the second (right) Range to clear box, enter the line number of the last setting you want to delete.
Select Execute.
