Real-Time QC window

Use the Real-Time QC window to review the performance for two controls simultaneously using a Levey-Jennings chart or a twin chart.

NOTE

The intended use of this window is to review performance when two controls are run for each test. However, you can still use this window if you run only one control.

Using the Real-Time QC window

1. At the Menu Panel, select QC then select Real-Time QC.

The control charts for the first 12 tests display.

2. To view the twin-plot chart, select Twin Plot from the drop down list.

3. Close the window.

Setting up the Real-Time QC window

1. At the Menu Panel, select QC then select Real-Time QC.

2. Perform any of the following tasks on this window:

Assign the two controls to be plotted for each test

Delete an assignment

Change the order in which a method displays on the Real-time QC window

3. When done, select OK.

Assigning the two controls to be plotted for each test:

1. Select Registration list edit.

2. In the Control 1 list, select the control you want plotted as Control 1.

3. In the Control 2 list, select the control you want plotted as Control 2.

The tests that the two controls have in common are now listed.

4. In the test name list, select the test you want plotted.

5. Select Registry.

The new assignment displays in the Entry List.

Deleting an assignment:

1. Select the applicable line in the Entry List.

2. Select Delete.

Changing the order in which a method displays on the Real-time QC window

1. Select the applicable line in the Entry List.

2. To move the method to a position, select Up or Down.
