Setup Menu: System Parameter Settings window

Use this window to enter or change system parameters, that define the processing environment.

Using the System Parameter Settings window

NOTE

Access to this window is through a tech_manager logon level only. Please contact your technical service provider or distributor in order to change the default settings on this window.

1. Log on as tech_manager.

2. At the Menu Panel, select Setup, then select System Parameter Settings.

3. Perform any of the following tasks at this window:

·   Defining and edit system parameters

·   Viewing system parameters

·   Printing system parameters

4. Close the window.

Defining and editing system parameters.

1. In the Value box, enter the new value for the parameter.

The possible values are shown in the Comment area.

2. If you are logged in as a supervisor, you can also use this procedure:

1. At the System Parameter Settings window, select Parameter Define.

2. At the Parameter Define (Setting of Section and Number) window, select a parameter.

3. Enter a number.

4. Select Edit.

5. At the Parameter Define (Edit) window, make the changes or enter new information.

6. Select Save.

Viewing system parameters.

1. To scroll up and down one parameter at a time, select Next and Prev.

2. To scroll up and down one screen at a time, select Next Page and Prev Page.

Printing system parameters

1. To print system parameters select Print.

2. When prompted, select OK.
