Sample-dilution mechanisms

The sample-dilution probe (DPP) aspirates sample from the sample tray (STT),  a laboratory automation system (LAS) like lab cell, or from the universal rack handler, and dispenses it into cuvettes in the dilution tray (DTT), according to the specified assay conditions. The aspiration and dispensing functions are handled by the dilution pumps.

Using these mechanisms, you dispense the following items into the DTT cuvettes:

·   Sample diluted with standard diluent

·   Sample diluted with special purpose diluent

·   Undiluted sample
