Cleaning and replenishing the cuvette detergent bottle

Cleaning the cuvette detergent (wash solution) bottle can be performed at the time the bottle is refilled, but it must be performed at least once a month.

 

1    ISE buffer bottle 

2     RRV (Reaction) bath oil bottle

3     Isotonic saline diluent bottle

4     Cuvette detergent bottle

5    Cell conditioner bottle

To clean the cuvette detergent (wash solution) bottle

  1. Unscrew the filter cap at the front of the cuvette detergent (wash solution) bottle (4), and pull up the tube with the filter.

  2. Disconnect the cuvette detergent (wash-solution) bottle level-sensor connector. Turn counter-clockwise and pull it out.

  3. Remove the bottle.

  Caution

To avoid mixing up the fluid bottles, make a note of the bottle position on the shelf.

  1. Empty the remaining contents of the bottle.

  2. Rinse the bottle with deionized water and drain well.

 Caution

To avoid damaging the level sensor connector, ensure that it does not get wet.

  1. Refill the bottle with cuvette detergent (wash solution).

  2. Replace the bottle in the same position on the shelf in the cabinet.

  3. Connect the cuvette detergent (wash solution) bottle level sensor connector. Push the connector in and turn it clockwise.

  4. Insert the filter and hose and fasten the cap.

NOTE

Make sure that the filter holder is located at the bottom of the bottle.

  1. Prime the fluid lines.

NOTE

If you are cleaning other bottles, you may wait to perform this step for all fluid lines.

  1. From the Operation panel, select the Prime button.

Get help on the Prime set window

  1. From the PRIME Set dialog box, select Prime 2 and enter 10 or more for the number of times in all fields.

  2. Select Execute.
