Cleaning the analyzer and rack handler panels

Analyzer mode: READY

Wear personal protective equipment.
Use universal precautions.

To clean the analyzer and rack handler panels

  1. Put the analyzer and rack handler in Standby Mode, then turn off the 30A Power switch on the rear of the analyzer.

 Warning

To avoid catching the toweling in the cooling fans, turn off the main power switch at the rear of the analyzer.

  1. Close the analyzer cover.

  2. Prepare a 10% solution of bleach and water.

  3. Dampen lint-free towels with the solution and wipe the following exterior surfaces:

·   top cover

·   side panels

·   front panel

·   rear panel

  1. Using deionized water, wipe the exteriors again.

  2. Turn on the 30A Power switch on the rear of the ADVIA 2400 system, then return the analyzer to Operating Mode and the rack handler to the ON mode (if applicable).
