Setting up calculation methods

As part of creating a new method in the Analytical Parameters (Chemistry) window, you set calculation, reaction rate, and endpoint methods.

The values for these settings depend on the analytical method set in the Analy.mthd box.

To help you set up new methods, the system provides certain default settings.

Setting up calculation methods

  1. In the Calculation method setting section, enter the detection point information, limit value, variance, and prozone settings.

  2. To set the reaction rate method, complete these boxes:

Reac.typ

Blank

  1. To set the endpoint method, complete the Re.absorb boxes.

  2. To enter automatic limit value settings, select IMA setting and complete the IMA Set window.

  3. Select Save after completing the rest of the method and select Yes when prompted.
