Reflex Testing Setup window

This window is only available if you log on as tech_manager.

Use this window to define reflex testing for reagent methods. You can define up to three reflex tests for any given test method based on a set of user defined conditions. When all conditions are true, the specified reflex tests are added to a sample workorder. The system tracks the workorder as a pending rerun until the reflex tests are completed. Reflex tests display in the Prev. val. column in the Review/Edit window.

To define reflex testing for a given method, you must list the reagent in the System Test List window.

Using the Reflex Testing Setup window

NOTE

Access to this window is through a tech_manager logon level only. Please contact your technical service provider or distributor in order to chang the default settings on this window.

  1. Log on as tech_manager.

  2. At the Menu Panel, select Setup, then select Reflex Test Settings.

  3. Adding a reflex test:

  1. Use the Next/Prev or Next Page/Prev Page buttons to locate the next available Setup No.

You can define a maximum of 3 assays for each test group (Setup No.). You can define a maximum of 30 reflex test groups.

  1. Enter the Process Test Number from the available list displayed under Proc. Test list.

These are the available tests from the System Test List.

  1. Enter the numeric Assay Judgement Value (Conc.) for this process.

  2. Select the applicable test condition from the Judgement Decision list.

  3. Enter the Reflex Process Item Number (s) for the reflex tests you want to perform.

  4. Select Save.

  5. At the Reflex Testing Setup window, select Yes.

  1. Clearing reflex setups from the list:

  1. Select Clear.

  2. At the Clear window, select All to clear all tests or select Specific No.

  3. Enter the Setup No. of the test you want to clear.

  4. Select OK.

  5. Printing a listing of reflex setups:

  1. Select Print.

  2. At the Print window, select Yes.
