As part of modifying a predefined method in the Analytical Parameters (Chemistry) window (or creating a new one), you can set normal, abnormal, or standard values for your samples:
· Normal (expected) values for serum and urine samples.
· Abnormal ("panic") values for samples and reagent baselines (RBL).
· Standard values in FV (you must save them in the View Calibration Curve window for them to take effect).
These settings are entered in the Standards setting section of the window. You must save all settings.
Select Normal Value Set, then complete the Normal Value Set window.
Enter reagent baseline (RBL) limits.
· Calc.mthd is ABS or STD: Enter standard value limits and the factor value.
· Calc.mthd is MSTD: Select Multi-STD and complete the Multi-Standards Set window.
Select Save and select Yes when prompted.
